Are we really wired ?

We'll begin issue #1 of net@Lebanon with a survey.
Last year a report stated that Lebanon had 80,000 Internet users.
Recently, Internet Arab World Research Unit placed Lebanon at #4
with 227,500 Internet users, which means that the number of users
nearly tripled (2.8) in less than a year.

Below is a chart showing the number of Internet users in the Arab world.

Although the Internet in Lebanon is not as popular as in the US, at least
the figures are promising.
Lebanon has more than 10 ISPs (Internet Service Providers) that share
the number of Internet users. Many people have 1,2,3 accounts and some
even share the same account between friends and family thus it is somehow
difficult to track the number of Internet users in Lebanon.
